Will CBD oil make me 'high'?
No. This is probably the biggest misconception. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), CBD (cannabidiol) is completely non-psychoactive. So you can go about your day as normal.
Where do you source your CBD?
Our CBD is sourced from organic farms in Oregon which legally grow hemp in compliance with the Farm Bill 2018.
Hemp vs. Marijuana: What’s the Difference?
It’s a common misconception that hemp and marijuana are two different species of plant.
In fact, they’re not distinct species at all. They’re just two different names for cannabis, a type of flowering plant in the Cannabaceae family.
While science doesn’t differentiate between “hemp” and “marijuana,” the law does.
Is gravydrops CBD derived from hemp or marijuana?
CBD can be extracted from both marijuana and hemp. However, Gravydrops CBD is derived from hemp as marijuana is illegal in most places, much of the CBD you’ll find on the market is made from hemp.
How does CBD work?
Put simply, CBD restores homeostasis (the body’s natural balance). It works in the endocannabinoid system by activating two of its core receptors (known as CB1 and CB2), which regulate mood, temperature, cognitive function and muscle repair.
How do I take Gravydrops CBD?
The most effective delivery system for CBD is sublingually (under the tongue), CBD is more rapidly and efficiently absorbed into the blood stream for maximum benefit. Place the oil under your tongue and hold for 1 - 2 minutes and then swallow. Starting low, assessing how you feel throughout the day or night, and adjusting accordingly is the best way to find the perfect amount for you. Everyone is affected differently by CBD, and the time it takes to see results and the amount where you see results will be unique to you.
